Don’t advertise your company or your products anymore… just tell the world inspiring stories on social media that make a difference and that engage and stimulate good conversations.
Don’t market yourself to tired workers and jaded consumers anymore… just tell them touching stories that put them to bed with a smile on their dial. Entertain and delight them!
Don’t spruik your successes and your achievements anymore…try blowing someones else’s horn that has run out of breath.
Don’t worry so much about how you look and stop spending so much money on your logos and your websites and corporate images…try helping others with less thread and influence but who are making good things happen in the world.
Don’t trumpet, blow, pontificate, subvert, force or manipulate people anymore. Try sharing and engaging and conversing and yarning and smiling and storytelling….and THEN tell us all what happened…

Andrew Houston In Charge!
Tomorrow afternoon at 1545 precisely, Andrew Houston will be performing his piece “In Charge” at Glasgow’s Old Hairdressers on Renfield Lane. A mixture of live performance and pre-recorded film projected on screen two characters engage in a job interview. The piece challenges the idea of the accessability of the to artistic mediums and asks the audience to decide who is really in charge. And not only that, it’s free as well!
I was lucky to be asked by Andrew to film the Interviewer for the performance and I am really looking foward to seeing both elements together. It is part of Buzzcut Festival that is running all weekend in Glasgow and is showcasing some very exciting new and different grassroots live art. So come along and check out what’s on offer, a unique experience is pretty much guaranteed.
